Summary:Thirtyone years old woman was operated for complicated ano-rectal fistula using lay open method. The wound was getting smaller day by day but on 28 POD she felt pain around the wound. On 30 POD edema around the wound was found. After 8 hours finding edema, she fell suddenly shock status and died 3 hours later in spite of CPR. In the foreign litrature, Fournier's syndrome is shown as “the bacterial infection of soft tissue spreading rapidly from anus, rectum, or urethrial organ and that is'nt rarely fatal”. In Japan, same syndrome was repoted by some pysician. In this litrature, we report a case of Fournier's syndrome and its clinical feature.
