Reactions of the coupled conversion of methane and higher alkanes

It has been found that methane conversion coupled with the conversion of higher alkanes is possible under mild nonoxidative conditions over supported nickel-tin catalysts. The coupled conversion of methane and higher alkanes opens up new pathways to the formation of aromatic hydrocarbons.
