Co-operative breeding in the Pygmy Falcon Polihierax semitorquatus

In this note we report from two sites in the Northern Cape Province, South Africa, the first observations of helping at the nest in breeding Pygmy Falcons Polihierax semitorquatus, which imply that this species is a hitherto overlooked co-operative breeder.
