Electrical conductivity of mixed-alkali fluorozirconate glasses

The features of the mixed-alkali effect in fluorozirconate glasses have been studied. It is demonstrated that this effect in oxygen-free halide glasses can be interpreted within the theory of inhomogeneous glass structure. The revealed structural features of mixed-alkali fluorozirconate glasses make...

Summary:The features of the mixed-alkali effect in fluorozirconate glasses have been studied. It is demonstrated that this effect in oxygen-free halide glasses can be interpreted within the theory of inhomogeneous glass structure. The revealed structural features of mixed-alkali fluorozirconate glasses make it possible to elucidate the role of all ions in the glass formation process.
