Summary: | Lithium-ion batteries are in the center of attention and research of many scientists. They are ideal for portable devices especially because of their high energy density due to volume. A huge boom can be currently seen in the area of electric cars. Unfortunately there are still some issues which need to be solved – for example heat resistance and flammability. Computer simulation can be used as a tool for saving time and work. This article deals with mathematical description of fundamental processes in Lithium-ion accumulators. |
