New constituents of Bothriochloa bladhi
The essential oil of Bothriochloa bladhi (Retz.) S.T. Blake, an aromatic grass collected from Tarai region of Nepal, was examined by GC/MS. Forty-five constituents were identified, of which acorenone-B (18.2%), neointermedeol (3.5%), beta-eudesmol (8.37%), famesol (8.52%), geranyl butyrate (7.20%) a...

Forty-five constituents were identified, of which acorenone-B (18.2%), neointermedeol (3.5%), beta-eudesmol (8.37%), famesol (8.52%), geranyl butyrate (7.20%) and caryophyllene oxide (4.50%) were the major compounds. Seventeen esters were identified in this oil (16.31%) fourteen of which were hexanoates or octanoates.
