Summary:Abstract The rotating resistance of conveying belt accounts for the largest proportion of the running resistance of the belt conveyor. To analyze the key factors affecting its size, a simulation analysis of the relationship between belt conveyor load, idler diameter, belt speed, and indentation rolling resistance was conducted based on the finite element method. According to the simulation content, experimental verification was carried out, and the test method of indentation rolling resistance was formed. The simulation analysis and test conclusions can provide certain technical support for the optimal design of belt conveyors.
