Summary: | Optical emission spectroscopy was used to determine the composition and spatial distribution of reactive species along a non-thermal plasma jet in a stream of argon and helium, expanding in the ambient air. It was shown that the composition and spatial distribution of reactive species in argon and helium plasma jets differ significantly. The geometric dimensions of the Ar and He plasma jets are also noticeably different. The features of the observed patterns of the composition and spatial distribution of active particles are discussed. |
