General convergence results of the modulus-based methods for vertical nonlinear complementarity problems

In this work, the general convergence analysis of the modulus-based matrix splitting iteration method for vertical nonlinear complementarity problems with H -matrices is proposed, which can extend the existing results given in Xie et al. (J Appl Math Comput 69: 2987–3003, 2023). Moreover, the propos...

Summary:In this work, the general convergence analysis of the modulus-based matrix splitting iteration method for vertical nonlinear complementarity problems with H -matrices is proposed, which can extend the existing results given in Xie et al. (J Appl Math Comput 69: 2987–3003, 2023). Moreover, the proposed conditions are much simpler and easier to check. Finally, the effectiveness of the theoretical results are verified by numerical examples. The proposed results can enrich the convergence theory and enlarge the application spectrum of the modulus-based methods.
