Summary: | During the video image coding transmission, there is always a lot of noise. When the gray distortion rate of video image is 10.56–50.56%, the image packet loss rate is high. Therefore, an algorithm of fault-tolerant coding transmission of video image based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology was put forward. Multi description video coding was performed based on low frequency prediction. When the image only transmitted partial description, it was necessary to recover the lost wavelet coefficients by error concealment. The bit stream was controlled by adaptive control algorithm. The multi-carrier model based on multi-dimensional modulation was designed by OFDM technology, so that the algorithm could be achieved. In order to prove low packet loss rate, the proposed algorithm was compared with the original algorithm when the gray distortion rate of video image was 10.56–50.56%. Experimental results show that the packet loss rate of source coding transmission and channel coding transmission of the proposed algorithm are lower than the those of original algorithm. Meanwhile, the transmission performance of fault-tolerant coding is improved. |
