Effect of Heat Treatment on the Microstructure and Physicomechanical Properties of a Cold-Rolled Strip Made of a 97NL-VI Alloy for Manufacturing Current-Carrying Parts

Various conditions of quenching and aging of a cold-rolled strip made of a 97NL-VI (98% Ni–2% Be) alloy intended for producing parts of the current-carrying elements of devices are studied. The mechanical (ultimate strength, yield strength, elastic modulus, relative elongation) and physical (electri...

Summary:Various conditions of quenching and aging of a cold-rolled strip made of a 97NL-VI (98% Ni–2% Be) alloy intended for producing parts of the current-carrying elements of devices are studied. The mechanical (ultimate strength, yield strength, elastic modulus, relative elongation) and physical (electrical resistivity, saturation magnetization) properties are studied after quenching and aging under various conditions. A comparative estimation of the physicomechanical properties and the microstructure of the strip is carried out.
