Summary:The temperature dispersion of dielectric properties of polyethylene-based composites and nanoclays of the Na + -montmorillonite type is studied. It was found that as a result of the heating–cooling cycle, the dielectric characteristics of samples take on new values, which are preserved for some time. It is assumed that this effect is due to thermally stimulated processes of redistribution of charges at the filler–matrix boundary and their accumulation in deeper traps and, as a consequence, emergence of nonequilibrium states of the medium.
