Summary:— The analysis of metabolic pathways of amino acids during fetal intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) was performed on the basis of the study of the metabolomic profile in pregnant women. This analysis revealed pathways, ordered according to the levels of confidence (analysis of pathways enrichment) and values of influence (topology-based pathway analysis). Connected biological networks have been identified, built using the differences in metabolites found in the IUGR group and in the control group. These networks detect influence of individual amino acids on the metabolic pathways involved in the pathogenesis of this pregnancy complication.
