Summary:A comparative analysis of the photochromic properties of composites based on polyvinyl alcohol and WO 3 nanoparticles stabilized with polyvinylpyrrolidone with different molecular weights has been performed. The composites possess reversible photochromicity. The results of electron absorption spectroscopy, thermal analysis, and mechanical tests showed that under the action of UV light, crosslinking of the polymer can occur depending on the molecular weight of the stabilizer and the polymer matrix.
