Summary:The nonlinear dynamics of the 197 Au 31+ ion beam in the booster has been studied with the MAD-X program. The numerical computation of the dynamic aperture for the DFO-magnetic lattice of the booster is presented. Resonances of second and third order are taken into account. An analysis of the betatron oscillation frequency spread is carried out. This paper shows that the use of multipole correctors allows one to get beams with the required parameters.
