Summary:In this paper, a new dual-hop transmission scheme based on MIMO-OFDM is proposed in order to enhance the performance of cooperative scheme. This paper proposes improved cooperative dual-hop scheme which handles transmission schemes for three areas of the cell by changing transmission symbols. Since performance of wireless communication depends on channel states of cell area, the transmission can have flaws because of deep fading or heavy shadowing. Therefore, in order to overcome these flaws, a cooperative dual-hop scheme is used to construct virtual MIMO system and get spatial diversity gain. In addition, the usage of CDD and STBC scheme redeems the cooperative dual-hop scheme by obtaining high reliability.
