Summary:The paper presents the results of breakdown tests of composite materials with an ice matrix and various fillers by a freely falling load. We studied samples made from materials reinforced with sawdust, cellulose materials, basalt roving, and needle-punched materials made from cotton and basalt. The dependence of the nature of destruction of composite ice materials on the type of reinforcing materials in the ice matrix was revealed, and fillers with the best performance in terms of impact strength of composites were identified.
