PALLADIUM-CATALYZED TERNARY COUPLING REACTION COMPOSED OF ARYL BROMIDES, PHENYLTRIBUTYLTIN AND 1,3-DIOXOLE

The ternary coupling reaction composed of aryl bromides, phenyltributyltin and 1,3-dioxole under the palladium catalyst PdCl2[P(o-tol)(3)](2) in THF proceeds to produce 4,5-diaryl-1,3-dioxolane in moderate to good yield.
