All these messages are accompanied with pictures of people in white coats standing in a laboratory in an attempt to convince the gullible that there is science in the claims. All those in the pesticide industry will admit that mistakes were made sixty or so years ago, but as evidence of potential hazards have arisen, the products developed and registered have become safer to all - the operator, the food processor, the food retailer, the consumer, the environment and non-target organisms.
