Summary:Development of the knowledge and skills needed to obtain and interpret necessary health history and physical assessment data, deliberate practice, and targeted feedback have been identified as key components of proficient student performance (Bruning, Schraw, & Ronning, 1999). Each module included a textbook reading assignment and simulated case study scenario with links to health history and physical assessment data about the case study subject and expected age-related norms (Table).
