Cleavage resulting from intra-rabbit oviduct transfer of bovine gametes

The cleavage resulting from intra-rabbit oviduct transfer of bovine gametes (in vitro-matured oocyte and preincubated spermatozoa) was investigated. The recovery rate from the rabbit oviducts at 48 hr after transfer was 57.0% (800/1404). The proportion of cleaved eggs (two to eight cells) was 4.6% (...

The recovery rate from the rabbit oviducts at 48 hr after transfer was 57.0% (800/1404). The proportion of cleaved eggs (two to eight cells) was 4.6% (37/800). The proportion of cleavage differed among individuals used in the present experiment (0-36.4%).
