Summary: | Visible-light-induced sulfonylation/cyclization of vinyl azides has been developed for the synthesis of 6-(sulfonylmethyl)-phenanthridines. This facile and efficient approach used simple and readily available sulfonyl chlorides as the sulfonylation reagent for the construction of C-S bonds and triggered the formation of the C-N bond with mild conditions, broad substrate scope, and high functional group tolerance. |
