Summary:Amyloidosis is a pathology that occurs as a result of the accumulation of various misfolded proteins in the extracellular space. It is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality due to multi-organ involvement. One of the most important determinants of mortality and morbidity is cardiac involvement. Cardiac amyloidosis (CA) may present with a variety of clinical findings. In this article, we aim to demonstrate the supportive role of cardiac and extra-cardiac tissue in the routine diagnostic pathway for CA.
