The results of X. Chen and J. Zeng on linear p-Brauer characters

We reprove all the theorems of the recent paper of X. Chen and J. Zeng [1] by giving much simpler proofs by making use of results of Koshitani. Especially one of the two main results [1, Theorem 3] has been proved already in Koshitani's papers [6, 8].
