Summary:Ameloblastic Fibrodentinoma is a rare, benign, mixed odontogenic tumor. It arises from the odontogenic epithelium and the ectomesenchyme. In the present study, we report a case of a mandibular Ameloblastic Fibrodentinoma and a review of literature on the same. A 2-year-old male child presented with an intraoral swelling concerning the mandible, measuring approximately 5 cm x 6 cm in dimension. It has been present since birth and has grown slowly till it reached its present size. Wide local excision with Mandibulectomy was performed, with PMMC flap reconstruction of the primary defect. The final histopathological report was Ameloblastic Fibrodentinoma. Ameloblastic Fibrodentinoma is managed via a conservative surgical approach and should be distinguished from its more aggressive counterpart.
