Summary: | With data on the monitoring of snow cover pollution and satellite images an analysis of the sedimentation of polluted substances from high-altitude chimneys of the Iskitimsky cement plant is carried out. On the basis of the solution of a semi-empirical equation for the transfer and diffusion of substance in the atmosphere, a numerical reconstruction of the dust pollution field in the vicinity of the enterprise is made. A possibility of using satellite information to assess the areas of pollution which out snow precipitation formed in time intervals from several days to several weeks is shown. |
