Summary:We report on the magnetotransport properties of zigzag-shaped Co and Ni wires with different domain structures, i.e., multi-domain and single domain structures. Although the orientation dependence of the domain structures of Co and Ni wires are quite similar to each other, the transport properties show distinct behaviors. Based on the magnetic force microscopy and micromagnetics simulations, the different characteristics between Co and Ni wires are discussed.
