Local density of states of quasiparticles near the surface of t– t′– t″– J model

We have studied the spatial dependence of the local density of states (LDOS) of quasiparticles near a (110) surface using the t– t′– t″– J model based on the Gutzwiller approximation. By choosing the proper material parameters, hole concentration dependence of LDOS is obtained. The splitting of zero...

Summary:We have studied the spatial dependence of the local density of states (LDOS) of quasiparticles near a (110) surface using the t– t′– t″– J model based on the Gutzwiller approximation. By choosing the proper material parameters, hole concentration dependence of LDOS is obtained. The splitting of zero-energy peak of LDOS near the surface due to the broken time reversal symmetry state is obtained with increasing doping concentration.
