The mechanism of luminescence by laser light on aqueous solution surfactants

In this study the mechanism of luminescence of aqueous solution surfactants has been considered. It is shown that at the point of micellization the intensity of luminescence non-linearity depends on aggregate size. Summary:In this study the mechanism of luminescence of aqueous solution surfactants has been considered. It is shown that at the point of micellization the intensity of luminescence non-linearity depends on aggregate size. Experimental results on the action of laser light on aqueous solutions of sodium octylbenzene sulphonate confirm that in the process of photoionization active parts are taken by not only donor electrons solubilized in micelles but also electrons of surfactant molecules.
