Summary: | Because of the scope and inter-disciplinary nature of the subject, reliability education provides special problems. The kinds of tasks and therefore the training needs of reliability staff are highly dependent on the role of the organization in the equipment life cycle and to a lesser degree, the nature of the product. Correctable short-comings in available reliabiliy education include lack of instruction in environmental engineering, parts control, documentation. Program management and personal communication techniques are also recommended. |
