Summary:In this article, an analysis of radio interference levels due to high voltage transmission lines with corona is presented. A method to predict radio interference levels, which based on Gary's method and modal decomposition theory, is described and presented, considering also the skin effect in conductors and in the ground plane. Several application examples for 3-phase lines are presented and the results are compared with measurements published elsewhere.
