Summary:•Effect of interparticle interaction on kinetics of remagnetization of a magnetic composite is proposed.•The composite consists of immobilized single-domain ferromagnetic nanoparticles.•Our results show that interparticle interaction affects the relaxation time of the composite magnetization. We present results of theoretical study of effect of magnetic interparticle interaction on kinetics of remagnetization of magnetic gels with immobilized single-domain particle. Magnetic anisotropy of the particle is supposed very strong. The particles axes of easy magnetization are randomly oriented. Our results demonstrate that effect of interparticle interaction on kinetics of the particles remagnetization is determined by the strength of the applied field: this interaction slows down the composite remagnetization when applied magnetic field is weak and speeds up it when the field is high.
