Summary:Psychopathology, delinquent behaviour and other variables were explored in a nationwide representative population sample of male Greek-Cypriots in their late adolescence. A total of 1,935 subjects participated in the survey by answering a questionnaire voluntarily. The 28-item version of the General Health Questionnaire and a 45-item Self Reported Delinquency Scale were used. Results showed that promiscuity compared with other types of delinquent behaviour among Greek-Cypriot adolescents is one of the most rare types of delinquent behaviour. Results are further discussed and compared to findings from other European countries.
