Fabrication of a beryllium window sealed with an Au gasket for analysis of characteristic X-rays from surface
A window through which X-rays exit from a vacuum chamber into the atmosphere was fabricated from thin Be foil, using a ring of thin Au wire as a gasket for sealing.
