Highly efficient copper-catalysed oxidation of ascorbic acid by peroxynitrite
The simple salt CuCl2. 2H(2)O, and the new Cu-substituted polyoxometalate (POM), Na-7[CuCoW11O39]. 5H(2)O 1 are highly efficient catalysts for the oxidation of ascorbic acid by peroxynitrite.
