Summary:The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have as one of their main characteristics the facilitated access to information. These technologies contribute to the growth of several areas, such as education, finance, industry and health. When these technologies are applied to health, those who use them may have access to information that will contribute to a better experience with the disease they have. Then, these persons become active agents in their treatment. Thus, the content recommendation is an important means to support patient access to knowledge about their disease. Thus, this paper presents the development of a virtual environment, with the Semantic Web tools, is able to know the patient with diabetes and recommend personalized content according to his/her profile.
