Summary: | Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare and invasive tumor, and some patients will develop paraneoplastic syndrome (PS) during the course of the disease. This review summarizes PS associated with MPM, focusing on the clinical characteristics and treatment progress in hematological, endocrine, rheumatic, neurological, urinary, and other systems to decrease missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis, help early diagnosis and prompt treatment, and provide guidance for the clinical decision‐making of this kind of patients. |
