Summary:Introduction: Dynamic electromyography of elbow muscles using surface or wire electrodes has been shown useful in evaluating elbow flexor muscle function in neurological patients and in defining surgical management [1]. Due to the presence of adjacent forearm muscles, the use of detection systems with high spatial resolution should be considered. This study aimed to assess the presence of crosstalk in surface EMG signals coming from the brachioradialis muscle (BR), when being detected by electrodes of different sizes and interelectrode distances (IED).
