-grade students of SMPN 2 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year were used as subject in this study. One sample class was selected using Cluster Random Sampling. Data on thinking ability and cognitive learning outcomes were collected using an online test method via a google form. The analysis techniques were correlation product moment on SPSS and scalogram on Rasch Model Analysis. This study found that there is a positive correlation between concrete and abstract thinking abilities with cognitive learning outcomes, students who dominate the abstract thinking abilities have better learning outcomes than the student who dominates the concrete thinking abilities. |
