Summary:Like other big cities in Indonesia, Semarang City faces various problems, including high poverty settlements. Other problems are the low economic capacity of the community and inadequate public facilities. To overcome these problems, the government implemented the Kampung Bahari Program, which arranges the coastal residential environment of Tambak Lorok so that an advanced, beautiful, and prosperous coastal area is realized based on the development of the local economic environment of the community. This well-intentioned program faces several obstacles. One of them is the rejection of some residents related to the land compensation process of the community affected by this project. They considered that there was procedural injustice in the implementation of this program. This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication and procedural justice related to the Tambak Lorok Semarang village planning program. The population of this study was 108 residents registered in the planning in Tambak Lorok Semarang Village. The research sample consisted of 60 subjects. The hypothesis of this research is that interpersonal communication has a positive effect on procedural justice in the case of the arrangement of the Tambak Lorok village. The research results obtained product-moment correlation r xy = 0.832 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01). This proves a positive relationship between interpersonal communication variables and procedural justice. The components of openness, empathy, positive feelings, equality, and communication support also have a positive effect on increasing the perception of procedural justice.
