Summary:The structure and tribological behavior of the AK12M2MgN alloy reinforced by nanostructured fillers based on BN and SiO 2 micropowders are studied. It is shown that the modification of the micropowders by reactive elements is accompanied by the synthesis of nanosized ceramic compounds on their particles. This structure of the fillers leads to the dispersion of the structural components of the alloy, a considerable increase in its wear resistance, and a decrease in the coefficient of friction.
