Summary: | The results of radionuclide angioscintigraphy were evaluated in patients with stricture or occlusion of the extracranial part of the internal carotid artery. Time-activity curves for the first 13 s were generated from left and right internal carotid regions of interest of the neck. The differences between the counts from symmetric regions of interest were measured. We observed decreased activity in regions of interest in cases with stricture of the internal carotid. The first 13 s were significant for evaluation of the extracranial part of the internal carotid. |
