Summary: | Effect of nickel and cobalt salts on the thermal decomposition of hydrated cellulose and formation of the structure of Ni-Co-carbon fibers was studied. It is shown that the decrease in the decomposition rate of hydrated cellulose and the shift of the process to lower temperatures under the action of products formed in thermal decomposition of the salts (HCl and NO
x
) favor an increase in the yield of the final product (Ni-Co-carbon fiber). A sample of Ni-Co-carbon fibers with a specific magnetization of 31 Gs cm

was obtained on the basis of hydrated cellulose impregnated with nickel and cobalt chlorides. |
