Summary:TV holography is a whole field non-contact optical measuring tool for qualitative and quantitative measurement of resonance mode shapes of engineering structures under harmonic excitation. This paper presents results of our experiments for the vibration fringe analysis using TV holography with the continuous and the stroboscopic illumination which provide the time-average or the time-resolved respectively of the object vibration modes at resonant frequencies. A comparison between the two methods is highlighted in this paper.
