Summary:For an in-depth study of physicomechanical properties of fibers made primarily from flexible-chain macromolecules, such as PA, PE, PAN, etc., in the domain of nondestructive actions, such processes as creep and relaxation, in which appear hereditary viscoelastic properties, deserve attention. Testing of samples of these fibers under these conditions enable determination of the times of relaxation, delay, and other characteristics having a direct bearing on the conditions of functioning of technical fibers. In this article, the spectral interpretation of the used characteristics is examined by the example of use of a specific normalized function for approximation of relaxation or creep process.
