Summary:An Aberdeen Angus cow presented to the R(D)SVS with a history of ill thrift and unilateral nasal discharge. Radiographic examination revealed a fluid line in the right maxillary sinus. A diagnosis of maxillary sinusitis was made. After failure to respond to antibiotic therapy the sinusitis was treated by trephination and lavage by an in‐dwelling catheter.
