Summary: | Dermoid cyst is a congenital cyst with an appendage of the skin caused by impaction of the embryonal ectoderm. It usually appears in soft tissue and is extremely rare in the jaw. We recently encountered one case of dermoid cyst with numerous hairs in the left maxillary incisor region in a 17-year-old boy. Here we describe this case along with a discussion based on the literature. |
