Crystal alignment and measurement of photon polarization using coherent e + e − photoproduction at energies above 50 GeV

The dependence of the total absorption coefficients for polarized photons on the energy and orientation angles is calculated. The results show that the asymmetry of pair production can be used for crystal aligning and measuring the photon energy.
