Summary:Methods of identification of higher harmonics against the dominant harmonic noise at the network frequency changing over a wide range are considered. Recommendations on selecting the parameters for adaptive structural models for use in single-phase-to-ground fault protection are formulated. The digital current signal of the Kazan CHP-2 is used as an example to demonstrate the performance of the methods for assessing the levels of higher harmonics against the dominant fundamental harmonic when the network frequency deviates from the rating.
