Summary:Ipsvicia langenbergensis sp. n. (Hemiptera: Ipsviciidae) from the Upper Norian (Upper Triassic) deposits of the Langenberg near Seinstedt, Lower Saxony (Germany) is described and illustrated. This is the first definite record of the genus Ipsvicia Tillyard, 1919 outside Gondwana. The stratigraphy and palaeoenvironment of the Langenberg and the nearby Fuchsberg localities are briefly discussed.
